After publishing and distributing your Binder, you may want to use the current Binder as a basis for a new one.
Note: If you need to roll forward linked Workiva documents to a new quarter, consider using Folders. Learn how to roll forward a folder.
Make a duplicate
To duplicate a Binder:
- From the File toolbar, click Duplicate.
- Name your new Binder.
- Check whether or not you'd like to include documents in the new Binder. Unchecking this box only copies the tab structure and does not make copies of any uploaded content in the new Binder.
- Click Duplicate. The new binder opens in a new tab in your browser.
Update binder content
In the new Binder, you can reorganize tabs and documents as needed without affecting the original binder. Once these changes are made, you can publish your new Binder.
Permissions from the original Binder will carry forward to the new one. Learn more about updating Binder permissions.
