The Next Generation of Presentations
What's New and Improved
Improved charts with streamlined designs and enhanced configuration options
New shape modifiers and asset opacity
Easily copy and paste slides across different presentations
Automatically saved changes enable real-time collaboration—since there’s no need to save and share your edits, you’ll no longer see a Share button in your toolbar. Instead of sharing your edits, you can use the History panel to track revisions.
Master Slides in Toolbar
Access your Master Slides from the View toolbar. From here, you can use the outline to see your existing Master Slides, adjust their properties, add new slides, and easily reorder and rename your templates.
Slide Properties Panel
Edit a slide’s layout, background, and numbering using the gear icon in the right panel.
View a chart and its data at the same time by opening the chart’s data in a new tab and using the side-by-side viewing function. You can now see your chart update in real-time as you edit your data.
Create templates from new or existing presentations to easily share formatting and layouts across multiple presentations.

When you first open your file, you’ll see two panels on either side of your presentation—these panels help you edit, collaborate on, and maintain your slides.
The Document Outline is a list of slides in the left panel. Click on any slide to navigate directly there, or drag and drop sections to reorder them.
- You can click the Insert icon to add a new slide.
- Using the section controls, you can promote, demote, move, and add sections to your presentation.
- An arrow to the left indicates subsections beneath that main section. Click the arrow to expand and collapse the subsection list.

The Right Panel
The right panel lets you access several Wdesk features:
The Properties panel lets you adjust the settings for your selected slide. From here, you can change the slide’s background and numbering, as well as select which Master layout your slide uses.
You can view all comments from the right panel for easy access and review. To add a comment, right-click a selection in your slide and choose Add Comment from the dropdown menu. Learn more about adding and viewing comments.
In next generation Presentations, all changes are automatically shared with collaborators. You can use the History panel to keep track of what changes are made to your slides and who made those changes. Learn more about using the history panel.
Sharing Your Presentation
To present your slides, click the Present button in the File or View toolbar. Your presentation will start from the currently selected slide. You can also export your presentation as a PDF or PPTX.
