Wdesk offers the option to save your documents in a number of formats. One such option is to save your document in the DOCX format, making it compatible with a wide variety of programs.
NOTE: When a Wdesk document is exported to DOCX format, some formatting may not be retained. Some margins and tables, for example, may need further formatting in Microsoft Word to correctly reflect the original Wdesk document. When you use this export option, keep in mind the additional time it will require to check for (and potentially reformat) any inconsistencies. Make sure to turn off any pop-up or ad blockers before exporting.
Save as DOCX
To export a document into a DOCX file:
On the File tab, choose Save As, and select DOCX.
A DOCX Options window is displayed, with options to Show Table Cell Shading, Show Leader Dots, and whether to export the full document or just a section. Select appropriate options and click OK.
If you select Include selected Section(s), a sub-menu appears where you can select the sections you want to convert. When you have the sections selected, click OK.
The Export Progress box will appear. A status bar will show the progress as Wdesk converts the document to a Microsoft Word (DOCX) format.

Save a Revision as DOCX
To save a revision in Wdesk, go to the History tab in the Project panel. Hover over the revision you'd like to convert to DOCX and choose Open from the Actions drop-down menu.
When the document is open in Wdesk, you'll be able to distinguish the revision by the number in parentheses after the document file in the tab at the top of the main editing area. On the File tab, click Save As and select DOCX, and the remainder of the process is the same as above.
