Charts
Fixed: Pie label connectors render correctly after slice border disabled
A bug has been fixed that caused label connectors on pie and doughnut charts to render in an incorrect location after turning off slice borders. In addition to this fix, all affected charts are displaying properly.
Organization Admin
Default activity retention for new organizations
For all newly created organizations, the Activity Retention setting will be set by default to only store the activity log entries from the past 365 days. Activity log entries older than 365 days will be automatically archived and then deleted 30 days later. If you wish to retain all historical activity logs, Org Security Admins can change this setting in the Org Admin Security settings.
New Designed Reporting capabilities
Designed Reporting features are available for Connected ESG solutions. Review the program expectations and contact your Customer Success Manager to opt in.
With Workiva's new Designed Reporting features, you can create attractive, impactful, and highly-designed document layouts — all within the Workiva platform.
These new features offer movable content, image improvements, and tools to help you stay on-brand.
- Add floating objects to create unique page layouts by placing text boxes, images, charts, and shapes wherever your design requires.
- Use File Colors to keep your report on-brand by sharing a set of colors with collaborators in your document, presentation, or spreadsheet.
- Use character spacing to improve readability and control the text layout on a document page or presentation slide.
- Insert SVG images to maintain perfect image fidelity while keeping your file size low.

Chains and Data Prep
Note: These changes are currently available only to standalone OneCloud subscribers, but will be released to all Workiva users in the coming weeks.
New permissions and roles
In this release, we're introducing a new set of permissions and roles that allow a greater degree of control over the Chain Builder platform. When assigned by a designated administrator, these roles will permit staff members to access only the specific parts of the system required for their job.
This differs from the previous all-or-nothing model which depended entirely on the legacy Chain Owner role. This single role provided full access not just to Chain Builder, but to all Chains settings, admin abilities, and run history.
Here are the new roles included with this release:
Org Chain Security Admin (Org level): This role grants access to the Org Admin Panel in Chains where all connections and runners are managed. It must be paired with either the Chain Builder, Chain Security Admin, or Chain Owner role.
Chain Security Admin (Workspace level): This grants access to the permissions page in Chains. On the permissions page Chain Security Admins can set the levels of access of each Group in the Workspace.
Chain Builder (Workspace level): This grants access to the Chains product itself, but no other abilities. (Abilities within Chains are now based on the member's user group and permission levels, as set by the Chain Security Admin.)

String Distance transformation added
We've added a String Distance transformation to Data Prep pipelines. This transformation measures the similarity between two pieces of text by calculating the number of edits -- or "distance" -- needed to turn one string into the other. This is also known as a Levenshtein distance calculation.

Fixed: Get Table Definition command no longer fails for the IBM DB2 connector
STUD-2128: We've fixed an issue where the Get Table Definition command was failing for the IBM DB2 connector. Please note that this command requires the table name to be capitalized.
