Learn how to format your slides them for a visually dynamic presentation. You can format text and objects from the Edit toolbar. Many properties for your Presentation can be set in the Presentations Properties dialog box. Properties for individual slides can be set in the Slide Properties panel. Objects can be arranged and aligned to place content as needed.
Format different types of content
When you select an object, valid formatting options will show on the Edit tab. If you select a text box, you’ll see the options for formatting text in the toolbar. You can select multiple text boxes to format at the same time. For consistent text formatting, you can use style guides.
If you select a table, then you can see the formatting options that appear in the toolbar. Other options appear when you select shapes, lines, charts or images. If you use a single selection over different content types, you can adjust the formatting for of all of them at the same time.
Resize and rotate objects
To resize and rotate objects:

- Select an object.

- Click and drag on the handles.

- Right-click for object-specific formatting options such as Chart Properties or table cell properties.
Delete slide content
To delete slide content:

- Select a text box or image. Click Delete or Backspace.

- For a chart, click to select and then hover over the edge of the chart until the four arrows tooltip appears. Click again and then select Delete on your keyboard.

- For a table, click and drag over the entire table. Click Delete on your keyboard. Confirm the delete in the pop-up box.
Arrange objects in layers
Objects can be layered as needed using the Arrange icon in the Edit toolbar. You can also arrange content from front to back using the options in the right-click menu.
Note: You can also use keyboard shortcuts to arrange objects. To move an object 10px at a time, use [Shift] + [arrow keys]. To rotate an object in 15 degree increments, use [Alt] + [arrow keys].

Align slide content
Group content and align as needed utilizing the Alignment icon in the Edit toolbar. Select the desired objects and then click the icon to see the various alignment options.
Grid lines will appear to help you to size and place your shapes consistently.
Using keyboard shortcuts
